PARKING LOT - WALKING TRAIL - WATERFALL - IN THE FOREST

This natural picturesque setting is very green with many opportunities to witness wildlife. Enjoy a fairly flat walking trail in a cooler setting due to the thick foliage and trees as well as the cooling nature of Mill Creek. This trail meanders through a lush forest setting where it meets Mill Creek and leads to a waterfall.

A parking lot is located down the lane inside the main gate. Dog bag dispenser available onsite as well as a picnic table at the entrance. Dogs are welcome in this park providing they are leashed and cleaned up after.

The main path starts out as a leisurely walk and quickly transforms into smaller deer trails. There are a number of different trail branches with a lot of opportunity to forge your own trail. The difficulty of your hike depends on what trail you pick. Good shoes are recommended. There is an upper trail with a steady climb that will take you above the creek bed and around the canyon rim which is a little less challenging. If you choose, there are trails that lead right along the side of the creek and this can involve jumping along boulders in the creek to get around obstacles on the path.

Round trip to the water fall is about 5km and takes roughly 60 min. From the waterfall base you can climb up past the waterfall to the reservoir and back up to the canyon rim where the trail flattens out again.

The best views are right down by the creek though.

Have fun ! Bring bugspray. The waterfall is a great place to stop and rest and take in the spray to cool down on a hot day.
